Tenuta Artimino

The Tenuta di Artimino, belonging to the Olmo family since the eighties, is a place of rare beauty in the heart of Tuscany, located exactly in the homonymous village of Artimino. First important Etruscan center, then renowned medieval village, and lastly the favorite refuge of the Medici, chosen for the construction of one of their famous country villas, Villa La Ferdinanda, UNESCO heritage since 2013 and today the company’s headquarters.
Here wines of the highest quality are vinified, with mainly Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grapes. There are two precious Tuscan DOCGs that the Estate boasts of. Carmignano Docg is a wine with an ancient history, loved by the Medici family, produced in small quantities and appreciated all over the world, characterized by the presence of Cabernet in the blend. The Chianti DOCG is a broader name and certainly better known, synonymous everywhere of Tuscany and excellence.
